With the Octopus 600, Haag-Streit has introduced new perimetry technology that allows the instrument to display complex stimuli presentations such as Pulsar, which is not possible with cupola-based or projection type perimeters. Combining Pulsar’s early glaucoma examination and standard white-on-white perimetry, the instrument is capable of uncovering and monitoring the most important stages of disease progression, allowing for early diagnosis and, with EyeSuite software, comprehensive follow-up.

Among many others, the Octopus 600 innovative reports include Cluster Analysis and a Polar Graph that combines “Structure and Function” for a comprehensive assessment for the onset and progression of glaucoma. The doctor can choose from a variety of printouts including the Octopus 7-in-1 report and even an HFA style report.

The all-in-one perimeter can be operated with a touch screen, or standard keyboard and mouse, and utilizes Haag-Streit EyeSuite software for on-board trend analysis. The small footprint and silent operation makes it easy to fit anywhere in your office. It requires minimal training and offers short test duration with the TOP strategy of 3 minutes per eye.
