Pro Athletes Make Eyewear Their MVP

Some professional athletes collect cars. Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James has Ferraris, Maybachs and Bentleys taking up space n his garage. Alex Rodriguez uses some of his Major League Baseball salary to collect in contemporary art. Works by Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring and Andy Warhol adorn the walls of his home in Coral Gables, Florida.

Denver Broncos MVP Von Miller has a collection, too. Miller has over 150-pair eyewear collection. You need lots of back-ups when you spent a large amount of bone-crushing time on the gridiron.

But Miller’s love of eyewear doesn’t stop there. He helps Denver-area youth get eyewear, too. In 2012, Miller founded the non-profit Von’s Vision, which provides low-income Denver children with the eye care and corrective eyewear they need to be their best in the classroom and in life.

Now that’s a pro-athlete with real vision.
